With its legacy of educational excellence firmly established, Tallulah Falls School (TFS) continues to prepare students for a successful future.
TFS is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school serving more than 500 students in grades five-12. Academics and character development are at the heart of the Tallulah Falls School experience. The quality of the college-preparatory program and the success of students are priorities that form the foundation for the school.
The 500-acre campus features modern classroom buildings on two campuses, top-quality athletic facilities including a new natatorium and a multipurpose student activity center.
The school serves a growing day student community from surrounding counties, complemented by a global boarding population with students representing 20 countries.
Chromebooks for all students, wireless capacity and the addition of virtual reality and zSpace technology illustrates a commitment to digital learning. Offering 21 college courses on campus through partnerships with two area colleges delivers the rigor required for a true college-preparatory experience.
TFS maintains a small classroom environment, with a 15-1 student-to-teacher ratio. With 100 percent of seniors accepted to top colleges and universities, the school can affirm with confidence it is meeting its mission to elevate character and academics in a challenging and diverse college preparatory environment.
TFS offers low tuition rates and, with more than $6 million in financial aid awarded annually, gives middle-income parents the resources to afford a top-quality college-preparatory education.
Students at all grade levels are demonstrating academic growth, achievement and meet or exceed state and national norms on standardized tests. Classroom success is the result of combining highly skilled teachers with highly motivated students in a small class setting.
Over the past 14 years, TFS senior staff, with the leadership of Dr. Larry A. Peevy and with the guidance of an invested board of trustees, continues to illuminate a path focused on a promising future for all students.
