The result was Julep Farms, a nod to the regal elegance of the Kentucky Derby with a splash of sweet tea southern meets modern.

The restaurant, known as the Julep Kitchen, features New American cuisine with a decidedly Southern Twist. The kitchen focuses on seasonal cooking with high-quality, fresh ingredients. The Julep Coffee and Sweets bar is perfect for coffee lovers and those searching for a quick grab and go lunch or to satisfy that sweet tooth.
The Julep Bar is home to a grand selection of wines and champagnes, locally crafted beer and creatively constructed cocktails with a favorite and classic, the Mint Julep, taking the front seat.
The Julep Market is filled with the farm’s own, freshly grown flowers and herbs, unique home and garden finds, furniture, handmade jewelry and much more.
The stay portion is four luxuriously appointed cottages of different sizes and configurations: The Boat House, The Derby Cottage, The Magnolia Cottage and The Sweet Tea. Each features flat-screen TVs in every room, a wine refrigerator and a Keurig coffeemaker.
Julep Farms’ event spaces and locations are second to none with several locations and sites to fit many styles, tastes and budgets. They welcome all corporate retreats, special occasions and weddings.
