From the outside, Fromage & Other Fine Foods looks like a fun, quirky sandwich shop. However, that’s only part of the story. Owner Jenny Wilson is a Best Chefs America Award Recipient and her menu is anything but average or traditional.
Located on a side street in downtown Clayton, Fromage’s charming old house has the perfect feel for this magnificent restaurant. Fromage & Other Fine Foods uses the freshest and finest products available to create delightful eclectic selections. The menu changes weekly and everything is prepared in-house from delicious soups to delectable desserts.
Lunch is available Tuesday through Saturday with a bright cheerful atmosphere and a lively wait staff. Custom gift baskets are always available and takeout orders welcomed.
European and domestic specialty cheese can be cut to go and are used in many of the menu items. There are wonderful (but as Jenny warns, “ugly”) baked goods available for order. There is also creative custom catering for all of your needs.
Since 2007, Fromage makes everything fresh daily, from scratch. Soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts. It is a wonderful family affair with the close-knit staff and Jenny’s mother, Sally, and husband, Mr. Wilson, helping out to make this a great lunch spot!
