Goats On The Roof

The questions persist. Is it a zoo? A farm? A gift shop? An ice cream parlor? A candy store?

YES, to the all of the above. Plus, it is indisputably Rabun County’s most unique, most attention-grabbing attraction. Every vehicle on Highway 441 at least slows for a look – before most either turn in or circle back for a visit.

Goats On The Roof is a fun family stop! There’s always lots to do with a shop selling boiled peanuts, jams and jellies, a variety of jarred goods, unique gifts, T-shirts, homemade fudge, award-winning nitro icecream, gem mining and a playground.

And, of course, the namesake goats are always available to feed so you can become an official Goat Ranger!

Plus, there’s plenty of space to sit back and relax in one of their Amish Adirondack rockers by the fire pit. Or learn more about the alien origins of these unique breed of roof-dwelling goats.

A Rock & Candy Store is currently under construction and will be a new addition to Goats On The Roof in 2021.

A Food truck is also being placed at Goats on the Roof Spring 2021

Don’t resist the urge. Stop in for a visit the next time you’re on 441.
